I was lucky enough to visit Thailand for a month in 2025. I spent most of my time in Bangkok with a day trip to see the ruins of the old capitol Ayutthaya. My favorite area was Chinatown, where the street food stalls line the street for and you can find any kind of food you want. I was a bit shell shocked going from the clean, neat, organization of Japan and landing in Bangkok with not much of a plan. It was an amazing city and I can’t wait to go back to see the rest of the country.
