While visiting Miami on a long weekend, I went with a friend to check out the Everglades by airboat. We went on a group tour that lasted about an hour and only cost around $35. It was amazing to see an environment that is extremely unique. I would go on another airboat ride, maybe through a swamp next time, and I would splurge for a private tour. Also, fun fact: the Everglades are very shallow and are rarely more than 3 feet deep.
