Lose 100 lbs

Start Date: April 2, 2010

I've struggled with my weight my whole life, and it's time to finally get it under control. I've tried almost every diet you can think of, but the best diet plan in the world is useless if you don't stick to it. Consistency has always been my main issue, and I use food as a coping mechanism when I get stressed or overwhelmed. I would go into more detail, but until I can find a way of life that is sustainable, then I have no business giving out information on something that I haven't been able to get a handle on yet.

My heaviest weight was somewhere north of 300 lbs, and my lowest in my adult life was at the end of my 3-month trip in Japan, where I weighed around 230 lbs. Since then, I have gained back 20 lbs, and I'm hovering at 250 lbs. I want to get down to around 180 lbs and maintain it.

It's time to break the cycle and find a way of eating that I can maintain for the rest of my life that will let me stay at a healthy weight. You can view my consistency tracker and daily logs at https://www.bucketlistbruce.com/log.

Here are pictures of me at different weights throughout the years.
